Even if you don’t usually like hanging out in the city, there is plenty to see and do there, and a walking tour of the galleries of the Pioneer Square area of Seattle is a lot of fun. I have the great pleasure to be involved in an exhibit at the TK Corridor Gallery June 6 to July 2, 2013. One of my pieces was chosen to include in the Seattle Vine blog post about the exhibit.
The other piece in the show is “Celtic Spiral VIII”, part of a small series of works using the triple Celtic spiral labyrinth form as the focal area.
In other news, I leave at about 4:30 a.m. for a flight to Chicago to visit my very dear friend and fellow crazy person, Glenn Doering. Glenn is a very talented jewelry maker, and together we are going to make the pilgrimage to the Bead and Button Show in Milwaukee. We’ll probably also find time to run amok at the Printer’s Row Lit Fest in Chicago, and maybe get me up into a very tall building to see the city from above. One never knows.
Summer arrives soon! So whatever your plans, be well, my little chickadees!
