No, I’m not going to call you my little chickadees, I don’t know most of you well enough for that! But I’m sending this because Larkin is just hanging out in her favorite place on earth, the Oregon coast.
She got the Night Thoughts exhibit mounted on Monday and the show opened to the public on Tuesday. I got busy on Monday night and got all the pieces — over a hundred if you count the individual dolls that make up the Everyone Has a Story collection, and over four hundred photos — checked out and available on the website. Larkin and I would both be pleased if you dropped by to take a look: http://www.larkinart.com/Night-Thoughts
Most of the work has been under wraps for what feels like a very long time, and this will be the first look for those who can’t make it to the Oregon Coast. She’s been working on the exhibit and all the works that are part of it for nearly three years now, it’s a huge relief to her to actually share what she’s been secretly putting together all those months. The last mailing went out without links to the works pictured, not anymore.
Here’s all the details about the show:

I know Larkin has been keeping you updated on my condition and I thank you for your concern. I’m actually doing pretty well at the moment because it’s been almost four weeks since we finished the chemo and most of the side-effects of that have now gone away. It remains to be seen how well I’ll tolerate the radiation that starts next week but the people that will be taking care of me seem to know what they’re doing so I’m not much worried about it. It’s great to know it will all be behind me by Christmas!
I wish you well,
